Bridge Week & First Semester

Bridge week is when University became a real, tangible thing happening to me, instead of just the simple statement that I was going to attend some school. Bridge week is where I bonded with my roommates, made a few friends, and learned where all my classes were going to located.

The first big assignment that I can reflect on was my first Chemistry exam, in which I scored a very high B. It was a very big moment to see all the hard work I had put into practicing, and reworking problems to see reflected in that grade.

Strengths and Weaknesses

I am very good at studying for short amounts of time, however as a weakness I have learned I am very easily distracted when it comes to doing classwork. To combat this I have learned to put myself in a calm environment with very limited distractions.

Big Lesson

The big lesson I have learned this semester is try to do as little work in your room as possible. If you do work in your room try not to do big or hard assignments. Doing homework in my dorm for me usually also means I get less work done, I get tired quicker, or distracted much more often.
